Sponsorships may be available on a monthly basis as the need arises. If you or your child could use a little help, please reach out — we’re often able to match community donors with families in need. We do ask that recipients write a thank-you note to acknowledge their appreciation. These notes mean the world to our sponsors!
We are deeply grateful to the organizations and individuals who have helped us make our programs accessible to all. Thanks to their generosity, children and families facing financial hardship have been able to experience the healing power of horses.
We’d like to thank:
The Kitsap Youth Mental Health Foundation, The June and Julian Foss Foundation, Mandatory Fun Outdoors Foundation, Puget Sound Energy, Just One More Foundation, The Suquamish Tribe, The Santos Family Foundation, The Muckleshoot Tribe, The Squaxin Tribe, The Ruth Foundation, Chris Miller, The Ben B. Cheney Foundation, The Norcliffe Foundation, Walmart, The Glide Foundation, The Porietis Foundation, The Puyallup Tribe, Port Madison Enterprises, The Bainbridge Community Foundation, The Matt and Jen Wilson Family Fund, The William H. & Mattie Wattis Harris Foundation, The Tulalip Tribe, and The Believe in Me Foundation.
Thank you for helping these horses help these kids.

The Whole Horse Place runs entirely on donations, program tuition, and community generosity. We're 100% volunteer-run—no one here gets a paycheck, and every dollar goes directly to caring for our horses and supporting youth and veterans.
There are many ways to give:
Help a young person attend our programs who otherwise couldn’t afford to. You can make a one-time gift or become a monthly sponsor.
No child is turned away for lack of finances. Your donation helps make that promise possible.
Our senior horses are the heart of everything we do. Sponsorship helps cover feed, supplements, and medical care.
Give any amount, anytime, to help with feed, vet bills, program supplies, or wherever it’s needed most.
Every donation matters. One of our favorite gifts came from Hazel, who brought us her entire piggy bank—$19.29. It helped cover a vet bill, and her generosity brought tears to our eyes.
Your donation, large or small, is part of something truly meaningful.
