About US

We first started with horses in 4H twenty years ago. We developed right along with the kids, and when they outgrew the horse bug, we kept them for us, our friends and their kids, and all the neighbor kids. When the recession hit in 2008, we were forced to get rid of the horses or figure out a way to feed them, and thus, our passion for using the horses to better the lives of people became a reality.

Our mission is to enrich lives with our horses, and to give senior horses a place to live their lives out with dignity and respect.  We teach all aspects of horsemanship, and give you the time to establish relationships with these most excellent creatures. They say there is nothing better for the inside of a person than the outside of a horse, and we believe it.

While other facilities teach lessons, we focus on the whole horse. You will start wherever you are at with your horse experience. For some, that means learning to halter a horse, for others, it's  more advanced. Some want to get over fear, some just want to spend quality time with their children, and some are just plain horse crazy, and being here is the next best thing to having a horse in your own back yard.

We are not riding lesson facility with all the bells and whistles, but rather, we encompass the whole horse experience, and gear our programs to the average person with little or no horse experience, and work from the very first step up to riding with confidence. We won't turn you into an Olympic Equestrian, but we do know horses, and horse safety and we can make your horse experience a good one.
